Azbil is going to construct a plant building in the premises of Azbil Control Instruments (Dalian) located in Dalian, Liaoning Province which is an affiliate to produce control valves, valve positioners and limit switches for industrial use. The building is planned to be completed at the beginning of 2022.

Azbil Control Instruments (Dalian) was the first production base abroad of the Azbil Group established in 1994 and it was followed by the establishment of Azbil Production Thailand in 2013. In 2019 in pursuit of reinforcement of the global production system Azbil has been enhancing its production system by the full-fledged operation of its mother plant in collaboration with the Fujisawa Techno Center forming a three-pillar production system of Japan, China and Thailand. The overseas production rate was 11% in 2011, but rose up to 25% last year. The company is planning to aim at 35% or so in 2025.

With the establishment of the new plant building in Azbil Control Instruments (Dalian) which is the key center of production and delivery aimed for the Chinese market, Azbil intends to upgrade the production process and further automation as well as expansion of output capacity to satisfy global expansion of the market. The investment amounts to RMB46 million (approx. JPY700 million).
