Ebara received an order for ACR-type Pump to supply liquid ammonia to be used in the project to construct a hydrogenation plant which is now being promoted by Korea Southern Power (KOSPO) in Gangwon-do/Samcheok City, of Gangwon Province, Korea.

The hydrogenation plant of this project is the first one in Korea. The adopted ACR-type pump is Ebara’s boasting model having a high suctioning property with capability responsive to a high flowrate. It is suitable to secure a stable supply of liquid ammonia.

According to the company, the model has already been globally accepted for liquid ammonia and is reputed to be highly reliable among actual users. There exist pump manufacturers also in Korea, but Ebara’s product has been adopted because of the abundant experiences of supply and the valuation of the international reliability.

An actual introduction of the equipment is planned to start in 2028 and the Ebara’s production has already been on the way.
