Taiyo Nippon Sanso will supply several units of MOCVD device in 2026 to the Institute of High-Pressure Physics (Unipress) of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Unipress, founded in 1972 is the highest authority of scientific research institute which is belonging to the Polish Government.

The Unipress’ established world-class GaN bulk crystal growth technology will make it possible to be combined with the aforementioned device to be supplied and also to accelerate the development of research on the epitaxial growth of nitrides.

In addition, it is also used for the production of other wide bandgap semiconductors, and is expected to contribute to the development of nitride semiconductors.
