"5C" gases clear the way for 5G

They say that 2020 will go down in history as the dawn of 5G. Communication speeds will increase from 1 to 50 Gbps to meet demands for ultra-high capacity, super-high-quantity connections, and extra-low latency. 5G is a fundamental technology for the use of IoT, AI, and data systems.

To achieve all this, state-of-the-art semiconductors are indispensable. They include 3D-NAND flash memory chips, silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors, MRAM chips, and more. The manufacturing processes for this rely on five gases: methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), propylene (C3H6), acetylene (C2H2), and carbon monoxide (CO). You could say that the 5C gases are leading the way to the age of 5G.
