Privacy Policy

K.K. Gas Review (“GR”) is aware of the importance of customer-related information and abides by all laws and all internal company standards related to this information. In all of our business activities, GR obtains, uses, and manages customer-related information in an appropriate manner in order to protect that information. Our concepts related to the handling customer-related information is summarized below.

The customer-related information that GR obtains is used to deliver or supply products and services accompanying our business activities, as well as in surveys, such as those used in the development of new products and services.

To protect customer-related information, GR restricts access to that information, implements computer virus countermeasures, and implements other suitable security measures. While suitably collecting and using customer-related information, GR also works to the utmost to prevent illicit access, loss, falsification, or leaking of that information and thoroughly implements suitable handling methods.

As a principle, GR does not show or supply the customer-related information that we obtain to any third party without the consent of the customer. However, in the following five exceptions, that information may be shown or supplied without the consent of the customer. Also, statistical data based on customer-related information may be supplied to a third party, but only in a fashion that prevents identifying individual customers.

1. 1. When required by law.
2. 2. When a part of the work of handling customer-related information is outsourced to another company. However, in this case the information will not be supplied to the contracted company until a contract has been formed requiring the contacted company to use the customer-related information only for the contracted business purposes and requiring that the customer-related information is suitably managed.
3. 3. When a national organization, local public organization, or a person commissioned by such an organization requests our cooperation in performing work that is required by law.
4. 4. When GR determines that the information is necessary to protect the life, well-being, or property of the customer or a third party and that obtaining the permission of the customer would be difficult.
5. 5. When GR determines that the information is necessary for a specific need in terms of public health or the healthy growth of children and that obtaining the permission of the customer would be difficult.

Upon request from a customer, previously registered customer-related information will be disclosed, corrected, or deleted or the use of the information will be suspended according GR procedures once confirmation has been made.

GR will endeavor to suitably follow any revisions to related laws or changes in relevant circumstances and improve this Privacy Policy accordingly. Revisions will occur, and we recommend that you periodical check the Privacy Policy.
